How to Apply for CAT 2026?
Candidates can complete the CAT 2026 application process through the official portal by following these steps:

- Use the generated User ID and password to log in to the candidate portal.

CAT 2026 Eligibility
Candidates applying for CAT 2026 must meet the eligibility conditions prescribed by the IIMs. Applicants should generally have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
For candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwBD categories, the minimum requirement is 45% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or awaiting their final results can also apply subject to the conditions specified by the CAT authorities.
CAT 2026 Exam on November 29
IIM Indore will conduct CAT 2026 on November 29, 2026, in three sessions. The computer-based examination will assess candidates across three sections:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Quantitative Ability (QA)
CAT scores are used for admission to postgraduate management programmes offered by the IIMs and several participating non-IIM business schools.
